As an alumna of the Howard University School of Social Work, I am proud of the legacy that Dr. Lindsay left for us to build upon. Her advocacy for social justice and the recognition that cultural considerations must be included in social work led her to integrate the services in the District of Columbia public agencies. This is a legacy I proudly embrace and may my service in the school extend to the next generation of Howard alumni and professors.
