Change Makers

Howard University's School of Social Work contributed to my growth as an individual and as a professional transitioning into a field that can be challenging, yet rewarding. The School of Social Work program helped shape me into the Social Worker I am today; someone who is a voice for those who have been silenced and a dreamer for those who dare not to dream anymore. My experience at my field sites and the discussions in the classroom provided fuel to the fire in my heart to be the person for others that I needed and furthered my commitment for social justice and to help others live the life they did not think imaginable.
