Supporting the Howard University Food Pantry

As we approach the holiday season, we are reminded of the importance of community and the heart of giving. Many of our students continue to experience food insecurity, and the Nourish HU Food Pantry plays a vital role in ensuring they have access to essential items.

In our continued efforts to celebrate 90 years of social work education, we invite you to join the Howard University School of Social Work Food Drive and help us reach our goal of 900 donated items by November 21!

 Here’s how you can help:
Donate via our Amazon registry – items will be shipped directly to the School of Social Work.
• Drop off non-perishable food items in the School of Social Work lobby drop box.

Encourage your classmates, students, colleagues, and friends to join in—every contribution counts!  Let’s show our ongoing commitment to service and community uplift. Share this message with your family and friends and help us cross the 900-item finish line in the next 14 days!

We extend our gratitude to our partners, the Student Council Association (SCA) and the Howard University School of Social Work Alumni Association (HUSSWAA), for co-leading the effort and their continued support.

Together, let’s close the food gap right here at home and make a meaningful difference this season!
